About
In this wiki, you can find code, libraries, or documentation that the community feels can be useful for the modern professional. It is not exclusive to Aoedia members, but is open to the general community, because the community believes that the professional industry needs to adapt to the modern way of consuming and processing data and information, and since the professional is not traditionally a coder or programmer, the community thinks that encouraging an inter-disciplinary exchange of knowledge is important.
Types of Professionals
Professionals come in all shapes and forms, and can contribute to this project in different forms as well. When we talk about the professional, we are talking about the knowledge worker, and the community can especially consist of the professional that is active in an organization or industry that is data and information intensive.
We like to group professionals into three main clusters
The first cluster of professionals we like to define are :
Legal Professionals
Public Affairs Professionals
These professionals typically contribute in our 'Collaborative Projects'. These are active projects that require the expertise of such professionals, and especially geared as very helpful end-products for them.
The second cluster of professionals in our community consists of :
Data Scientists
Data Journalists
These professionals are important because they are the professionals who are using the data and creating and writing incredible insights and stories. Their roles are redefining the media, research, and consultancy industry.
The third cluster of professionals in our community consists of :
Programmers
Engineers
To say they are the meat and grind of this community is an understatement. These folks make the unthinkable happen, and create the tools and troubleshoot the technical problems encountered by the community. They work on the OpenAoediaDatabase and OpenAoedia Research Tools
