Entity Permissions
On Forge 1.20.1, Flan's Mod Ultimate registers these boolean permission nodes for server permission handlers. All nine default to allow, so servers without a permission manager keep their current behavior. Set individual nodes to deny for players or groups using a permission manager that supports Forge's permission API.
| Entity | Pickup or dismantle | Enter | Attack |
|---|---|---|---|
| Driveables, including vehicles, planes, and mechas | flansmodultimate.driveable.pickup |
flansmodultimate.driveable.enter |
flansmodultimate.driveable.attack |
| AA guns | flansmodultimate.aa_gun.pickup |
flansmodultimate.aa_gun.enter |
flansmodultimate.aa_gun.attack |
| Deployed guns | flansmodultimate.deployed_gun.pickup |
flansmodultimate.deployed_gun.enter |
flansmodultimate.deployed_gun.attack |
pickup controls the player's attack-to-item action on parked driveables and the
player's break-and-drop action on unoccupied AA and deployed guns. A gun's
attack permission is also required to break it. Existing team settings, locks,
and occupancy rules still apply.
enter controls mounting, including driveable passenger seats and seat changes.
It does not prevent a current rider from dismounting. AA sentries cannot be
entered; their reload interaction is unaffected by the enter permission.
attack controls damage attributed to a player, including player-fired shots and
hits on driveable seat or wheel collision entities. Environmental damage, NPC
attacks, and administrative removal are outside these player permissions.
The operator-only entities remove force command can still remove an occupied
entity deliberately.
Forge permission nodes do not imply a hierarchy: denying driveable.attack does
not automatically deny aa_gun.attack, and denying attack does not deny
enter. Configure each node you need separately.
