Password for the Pi is pi

You will need to perform this step if you aren't sure if the Pi is connected to the WiFi or what its IP address is. You will need a monitor, mouse, and keyboard.

After connecting everything and starting the Pi, make sure the Pi is connected to WiFi (MWireless doesn't work but MGuest does) and that you are on the same WiFi on your computer. Go to the terminal on the Pi and type run ifconfig, which will tell you all the network interfaces. Look for wlan and remember the inet IP address corresponding to it.

You can SSH to the Pi now using that address:

ssh pi@ip

To actually see the desktop, you can use VNC Viewer, and put the IP address from above as the VNC Server address.

Transferring files

You can use scp to transfer a file or directory across to the Pi:

scp path/to/file pi@ip::/home/pi/Documents/.
