Loot List Config Properties - Ansible2/Arma-3-Survival GitHub Wiki

Properties:

checkForDuplicates

Type(s): NUMBER or BOOL

Description:

Simply determines the use of pushBack or pushBackUnique command when adding classes to the loot lists. It can add some time to how long it takes to prepare a loot list depending on its size. This is really only needed if one is manually adding classnames to a whitelist array property that may intersect with the items added by a condition property and they do not want a higher (but likely insignificant) chance of that item spawning (depending on how large the pool of items is for a particular list).

Example(s):

checkForDuplicates = 0;

checkForDuplicates = true;

conditionClothes

Type(s): STRING

Description:

This is uncompiled code that must return a BOOL. Essentially acts as an easier/dynamic filter method. Specifically this will run against headgear, backpacks, uniforms, and vests. SEE NOTE 1

Parameters:

STRING: _this select 0 - The class of the item currently being checked

CONFIG: _this select 1 - The config in which the class belongs (e.g. configFile >> "CfgVehicles")

Example(s):

conditionClothes = "true";

SOG Prairie Fire condition

conditionClothes = "(getAssetDLCInfo [_this select 0,_this select 1] select 4) isEqualTo '1227700'";

conditionMagazines

Type(s): STRING

Description:

This is uncompiled code that must return a BOOL. Essentially acts as an easier/dynamic filter method. Specifically this will run against explosives. SEE NOTE 1

Parameters:

STRING: _this select 0 - The class of the item currently being checked

CONFIG: _this select 1 - The config in which the class belongs (e.g. configFile >> "CfgMagazines")

Example(s):

conditionMagazines = "true";

SOG Prairie Fire condition

conditionMagazines = "(getAssetDLCInfo [_this select 0,_this select 1] select 4) isEqualTo '1227700'";

conditionWeapons

Type(s): STRING

Description:

This is uncompiled code that must return a BOOL. Essentially acts as an easier/dynamic filter method. Specifically this will run against launchers, items, primary weapons, and handguns. SEE NOTE 1

Parameters:

STRING: _this select 0 - The class of the item currently being checked

CONFIG: _this select 1 - The config in which the class belongs (e.g. configFile >> "CfgWeapons")

Example(s):

conditionWeapons = "true";

SOG Prairie Fire condition

conditionWeapons = "(getAssetDLCInfo [_this select 0,_this select 1] select 4) isEqualTo '1227700'";

lootBlackList

Type(s): ARRAY

Description:

	"ChemicalDetector_01_watch_F"
};

};

lootWhitelist_handguns

Type(s): ARRAY

};

lootWhitelist_items

	"itemGPS"
};

lootWhitelist_launchers

Example(s):

lootWhitelist_launchers[] = {
	"launch_MRAWS_green_F"
};

lootWhitelist_primaries

Type(s): ARRAY

Description:

Any classnames that you want to spawn under the primary weapons category.

Example(s):

lootWhitelist_primaries[] = {
	"arifle_MXC_Black_F"
};

lootWhitelist_vests

Type(s): ARRAY

Description:

patches

Type(s): ARRAY

Description:

If one or more of these classes is not present in CfgPatches, the custom list will not be used and all items will be allowed. Used to make sure the custom list has everything present for it to be effective.

Example(s):

Check if SOG PF is loaded:

patches[] = {
	"vn_data_f"
};

NOTES

  1. WARNING: This code will be checked against every class within the config for these items. This can significantly increase the amount of time it takes to prepare loot classes before you are teleported to the play area.

  2. Condition properties are by default set to true. Ensure you set the conditions to be "false" if you only want specifically whitelisted items to spawn.

  3. All loot list array properties' strings are automatically set to lowercase with toLowerANSI before comparisons begin.

  4. Whitelist arrays will supplement any classes added via the condition properties.
