Fossils are a type of collectible items that can be placed in display cases. They are found attached to the background tiles in most underground biomes and collected by completing a fossil mini-game. Alternatively, a set of random fossil pieces can be received by buying and using the Unpacked Alien Fossils at the Crate Unpacker booth.

Currently the K'Rakoth mod adds 3 medium-sized fossils of the extinct humanoid species.
