The Annelisks are one of the extinct non-playable races introduced by the K'Rakoth mod. Alongside the Fenrons and the Nooliths, they were among the four vassal races who served the K'Rakoths.

Unlike most races, Annelisks were not bipedal: instead they moved around by sliding on their massive tails. Their other distinct features included thin front limbs, elongated heads, long curved necks, and clitellum-like protrusions around the chest area. Despite having generally worm-like bodies and the ability to reproduce by dividing into pieces, Annelisks are also strongly associated with reptilian motifs, particularly snakes.

Their associated relic is the Lost Broadcast. It can be crafted from Encryption Keys at the Reconstruction Table and traded for the Worm Pack.

Encounters

While there are no proper Annelisk NPCs to speak of, the player can find many of their abandoned structures across the universe.

Dungeons

Abandoned Annelisk buildings can be encountered in the Polluted mini-biome of Scorched planets. Most of them have one or two rooms and contain dilapidated furniture, expired delivery packages and debris. Concrete, glass and metal are common materials used in their structure, with occasional heavy pipes attached to the walls. The rest of the biome is littered with chunks of scrap metal and Annelisk-made automata, both active and inactive.

• Their species name references the basilisk, a mythical venomous reptile, as well as annelids, also known as segmented worms.
