What is Lifestyle

Lifestyle is a under-development unofficial mod for Project Zomboid, an open world survival horror game. The mod is currently being worked on by a small team of hobbyists from all sorts of backgrounds. The first entry in the series was released on March, 2023 under the name Lifestyle, which would later be renamed to Lifestyle: Hobbies. It's a project born out of love and appreciation for both the aforementioned game and the old sims games nostalgia. Currently it can only be found in the steam workshop under the url: https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2997342681. This is the only released version of the mod, with the unique steam mod ID 2997342681, modpacks or re-uploads may present an outdated version of the mod and are not endorsed. Likewise, we advise against downloading the mod from any other sites besides steam.

Lifestyle is also referred as "Angry's Lifestyle", where "Angry" is the mod creator's pseudonym. It servers as both a way to credit the creator and as a nod to the way some games used to credit their lead developers by adding their names to the title.

In it's first iteration the mod only featured a basic meditation mechanic. Over time it expanded into playable instruments in a updated titled MUSIC UPDATE. The mod continued development with work on a new update titled DISCO UPDATE, which is planned to be released at an undisclosed date in the near future.

The mod was first released under the name "Lifestyle", but was later deleted and re-uploaded as "Lifestyle: Hobbies" to better reflect it's intended goals.

It also has two affiliate mods, which due to their nature as small additions to the main mod are called addons, they're called "Lifestyle Music Addon" and "Playable Harmonica! Lifestyle Addon", which expand on the main mod features. Aside from the official addons, several others were created by users from the Project Zomboid community, they range from song additions to full balance and mechanical changes.
