Test exchange open bills functionality

We assume that the list of available waiters gets filtered automatically to show only waiters and head waiters currently logged into the system, excluding the present order "owner".

Steps marked in bold should be executed as separate tests!

  • The POS system should be able to exchange open orders within the personal (EDIT: logged in waiters and head waiters, other than current order "owner")

Input that is used for the test to verify the functionality

Order:

  1. An open order with no products.
  2. An open order with some products.

Waiter account:

  1. Other waiter.
  2. Head waiter.

Steps performed during the verification process

Passing an empty order:

  1. Open a new order.
  2. Try to pass the order to another waiter / head waiter.
  3. Verify that the order is successfully passed to target waiter.
  4. Verify that the order is still open.
  5. Try to add products / remove products / cancel the order.
  6. Close the order.

Passing order with content:

  1. Open a new order.
  2. Add products to the order.
  3. Try to pass the order to another waiter / head waiter.
  4. Verify that the order is successfully passed to target waiter.
  5. Verify that the order is still open.
  6. Try to add products / remove products / cancel the order.
  7. Close the order.

Expected results

  • An order is successfully passed to another waiter with same contents.
  • New order "owner" can edit the order, cancel it and close it.
