Tutorial 1 Printing and Variables! - AngelRealms/Boop GitHub Wiki
Welcome to the Boop tutorial! Here you will learn the way of the Boop. To begin we'll learn printing text to the console.
When you print you do not need parentheses like most other programming languages. To print all you have to do is print <text> To see an example, check out /examples/hello.bp. You can print Variables and Strings with print. Ex.
print "Hello, Boop!"
Every variable in Boop starts with a colon, because why not? Variables can store Integers or Strings. A simple example:
:a = 5
print :a
Output:
5
