             ADVANTAGES OF SQL

1:-) HIGH SPEED: SQL queries can be used to retrieve large amounts of records from a DATABASE quickly and efficiently.

2:-) WELL DEFINED STANDARDS EXIST: SQL DATABASE use long established standard, which is being adopted by ANSI & ISO.NON-SQL database do not adhere to any clear standard.

3:-) NO CODING REQUIRED: Using standard SQL it is easier to manage database systems without having to write substantial amount of code.

4:-) EMERGENCE OF ORDBMS: Previously SQL database were synonymous with relational database. With the emergence of object Oriented DBMS, object storage capabilities are extended to relational database.

                     DISADVANTAGES OF SQL

1:-) DIFFICULTY IN INTERFACING: Interfacing an SQL database is more complex than adding a few lines of code.

2:-) MORE FEATURES IMPLEMENTED IN PROPRIETARY WAY: Although SQL database conform to ANSI & ISO standards, some database go for proprietary extensions to standard SQL to ensure vendor lock-in. A database is made up of one or more tables is identified by a name and contains records.

                      ADVANTAGES OF NON-SQL

1:-) BIG DATA

2:-) MORE FLEXIBLE THEN RDB

3:-) OPEN SOURCE

4:-) ECNOMICS CUSTOMER SUPPORT

                   DISADVANTAGES OF NON-SQL

1:-) COMPROMISED RELIABILITY

2:-) LESS SECURITY

3:-) NO STORED PROCEDURE IN MONGODB

4:-) THEY LACK THE ABILITY TO PERFORM ACID TRANSACTIONS

                       SQL VS NON-SQL

              DATASTORAGE

SQL:-) STORED IN A relational model, with rows and columns. Rows contains all of the information about one specific entry/entity, and columns are call the separate data points. NON-SQL:-) The term NOOSQL encompasses a host of database, each with different data storage models.

               ACID COMPLIANCY

SQL:-) The vast majority of relational database are ACID compliant NON-SQL:-) Varies between technologies, but many NoSQL solutions sacrifice ACID compliancy for performance and scalability
