Harmony is a clone of Discord, a voice and text chat application. Users form communities by creating servers, with multiple text and voice channels in each.

1. Hosting on Heroku

2. New account creation, login, and guest/demo login

• Users can sign up, sign in, log out
• Users can use a demo login to try the site
• Users can't use any features without logging in
• Users may have an image avatar

3. Servers

• Logged in users can create servers
• Users invite others to servers
• Users can become members of servers
• Servers are required to have a name
• Servers may have an image avatar

4. Channels within servers

• Users with permissions may create channels
• Channels can be voice or text
• Text channels can receive messages
• Users must have permission to see restricted channels

5. Live chat

• Users with channel access see that channel's messages in real time

6. Direct Messaging via global private server

• Users can send messages to other users in real time
• Messages are only visible between two users
