The goal of XLeapr is to create a simple, configurable, and extensible gesture recognition system for the X windowing system using the Leap Motion controller. The Leap is a popular cross-platform hand tracking device, but the burden of integration with the device falls onto the application developer. XLeapr is designed with end-users in mind. It allows a Leap owner to bind gestures to keypresses or scripts and allow for application specific bindings and allows developers to easily extend the functionality with gestures of their own.
