Welcome to the rPiTimeLapse wiki!

This repo houses my scripts that I use for having a Raspberry Pi take a picture with a USB webcam, on a set interval.

You are free to use these scripts, as long as the licence terms are followed.

The Problem:

I wanted to time-lapse something that was going to be too long to record with a simple iPhone time-lapse built into iOS.

So, I wanted to use tech I already had to time-lapse something that would take several months.

The Solution:

Raspberry Pi! This little computer, combined with some simple programming, a USB webcam, a USB flashdrive, and any simple video editor, you can make the time-lapse work!
