Welcome to the dreamcar wiki! i. Installation

1. JAVA JRE

download windows offline 64 bit
check change location to "C:\Programe Files\Java\jre1.8.0_291" (jre1.8.0_291 is the current version)

Download from https://tomcat.apache.org/download-80.cgi (windows 10: 32-bit/64-bit) Note: Tomcat is a servlet container Servlet container is the java application

After download configure this:

port 1111 (or other if this is in use)
Service name Tomcat10
user name: "admin", password "admin"
roles: "manager-gui"
java script virtual machine "C:\Programe Files\Java\jre1.8.0_291", is the java installation
folder to install "C:\Program Files\Apache Software Foundation\Tomcat 8.5"

Web Profile is like Tomcat, which does not include EJB support. We need Full profile.

download version http://download.oracle.com/glassfish/5.0.1/release/glassfish-5.0.1-web.zip
unzip to a folder and then go to bin folder with cmd
start the server by typing "asadmin start-domain"

install python 3.9 (this will work for MySql 8.0.25) https://www.python.org/downloads/release/python-395/
msi installer https://dev.mysql.com/downloads/file/?id=505212 (at this time is mysql-installer-web-community-8.0.25.0.ms)
developer default
requirements must be satisfied now because we installed python 3.9.5
all the products must be installed
config type Development Computer, Port 3306, make sure to check Open Windows Firewall ports for network access
check User Strong Password
MySQL Root Password: "iammysql8025", the user name will be "root"
Windows Service Name "MySQL80"

this is normally installed with MySql server
download from https://dev.mysql.com/downloads/workbench/ (version 8.0.25 at this time)
