Sometimes your ViewModel has different names from your data-transfer-model and it's too expensive to map the entire object using ko.mapping or custom mapping.

In these cases you can use the name member of the mapping literal to supply the framework with enough information to concurrency check the object structure.

var data = { Name: "John Doe" };
var mapping = {
    name: {
        name: "Name"
    }
}

new ko.concurrency.Runner().run(this, data, mapping);
