In a real scenario you probably want to disable save buttons, show a resolve conflict button, warnings etc. This can be achieved by listening to the conflict runner. You can add a observable to your model by calling the constructor with your view model as argument.

this.concurrencyRunner = new ko.concurrency.Runner(this);

This adds a observableArray called concurrencyConflicts on the model

You can use this to listen to conflict changes, for example with a computed observable

this.hasConflicts = ko.computed(function() {
    return this.concurrencyConflicts().length > 0;
}, this);
