I get the following error message during installation. How can I fix this?

AnalyticsGate OnPrem Reporting requires the .NET Framework, this requires a newer C++ Framework for older Windows versions. Download and install the Microsoft Visual C++ Redistributable (X64) from the following link. Link: https://aka.ms/vs/17/release/vc_redist.x64.exe

My username and password are correct why do I get an error message?

If your Qlik service user is not in the administrators group, we cannot determine whether the user or password is correct, as this query is then denied by Windows.

You can check this by running “gpedit.msc” under "Run" and then under“Computer configuration > Windows settings > Security settings > Local policies > Assign user rights” on the right-hand side, look at the entry “Allow local logon”.If only the Administrators entry is available here, our check will not work.

In this case, press “Yes” to continue with the installation.After completing the installation, check whether the “AnalyticsGate OnPrem Connector” service has been started correctly.
