Drying Racks are crafted from a variety of wood types. They will accept up to four items with a valid recipe at a time. Recipes can produce a successful "dry" output or a failed rotten version of the item.
The success rate of drying recipes is affected by the surrounding environment, darkness, rain, or placing the rack directly adjacent to a water source increases the chance of rotten items. A heat source, or strong light and the absence of the rot modifiers will improve the chance of successful drying.
The positive modifiers do not stack, the rack is either bonused or drying or not.
Recipes
some drying recipes have a chance of producing a rotten version of the output item, such as soiled hide or rotten meat. other recipes will always produce the successful output
Interaction:
- Adding and Removing Items clicking on the top of the rack in a 2x2 grid will allow placing and removing items
