Just some notes on what I'm hoping to do.

Challenge is: Now we use a PVR to record our favourite programmes we often miss the channel's announcement of (a particular) new series starting - we'd like to get that information in another way - preferably an email.

Tasks:

1. Find online data with tv listing data for the UK -DONE?-
2. Select channels that will be examined
3. a) Select via groupings such as Terrestial only / Freeview / and sky packages.
4. Allow input of various TV programmes to be added to notifications. (In this case "new girl" or "game of thrones").
5. a) Make sure there's some sort of fuzzy matching allowed.
6. Search data for the candidate programmes
7. a) Check if they're a new series
8. b) Email notification if a match is made
9. Find a server that this can run on - Google App Engine? Python?
10. a) Set search to run on an n-times a week/month basis
