Owners

  1. THE Akima system SHALL PROVIDE the Owner WITH THE ABILITY TO view A dashboard displaying the status of orders within 3 seconds.

3. Elevator pitch

¿Cuántos emprendimientos con gran talento artesanal se quedan pequeños simplemente por no tener un sistema que los organice?

Nuestro proyecto se llama Akima, y está desarrollado por Alyson Henao, Emily Cardona, Jose Miguel Sanchez, Samuel Moncada y Juan José Osorio.

Akima nace a partir de una necesidad real dentro de un emprendimiento de ropa tejida a crochet. Actualmente, la gestión de pedidos, inventario de hilos y seguimiento de fabricación se realiza de manera manual y desorganizada, lo que genera problemas como pérdida de tiempo, falta de trazabilidad en la producción, retrasos en respuestas y poca visibilidad del estado de las ventas.

La oportunidad que identificamos es clara: aunque el producto tiene alto valor artesanal y diferenciación, el proceso interno no está sistematizado. Esto limita el crecimiento del negocio y dificulta la escalabilidad.

Nuestra solución es Akima System, una aplicación web que integra en una sola plataforma la gestión del catálogo, los pedidos, los pagos, el control de inventario y el seguimiento del proceso de fabricación.

Nuestra propuesta de valor se basa en tres pilares:

  • Trazabilidad completa: cada producto vendido puede vincularse con los insumos utilizados y las cantidades consumidas.
  • Experiencia de compra fluida: el cliente puede navegar el catálogo, personalizar productos, realizar el pedido de manera sencilla y estructurada, reduciendo fricción en el proceso de compra.
  • Comunicación integrada entre roles: el sistema conecta cliente, empleada y administrador mediante notificaciones y actualizaciones automáticas, garantizando coordinación durante todo el ciclo del pedido.

A diferencia de una tienda online tradicional, Akima no solo gestiona ventas, sino también el proceso productivo artesanal, lo que la convierte en una herramienta integral para emprendimientos textiles personalizados.

Actualmente, el proyecto se encuentra en una fase inicial de desarrollo, en la cual ya hemos definido los requisitos funcionales del sistema, estructurado el modelo de base de datos y establecido la arquitectura basada en Django. Además, contamos con un demo preliminar que permite evidenciar el funcionamiento básico de algunas funcionalidades principales. En esta etapa, estamos consolidando los fundamentos conceptuales y técnicos del sistema para continuar con su implementación progresiva.
