Use Case Details

Title: Registration/Sign up

Actor: Doctor, User.

Scenario:

• Doctor can view the sign up page.
• Doctor has to put his/her name, date of birth, NID number/Birth Certificate number, contact number, email id, house address, specialist in, chamber 01 and its location, chamber 2 and its location, available time for each chamber and password.
• Users can view the sign up page.
• Users have to put their name, date of birth, NID number/Birth Certificate number, contact number, email id and house address, password.

Exception:

• Identifying the same name user and show a message to have a unique username.

Precondition:

• Doctors have a device with internet connectivity.
• Users have a device with internet connectivity.
• Users can read and write English.
• Users are familiar with web browsing and can interact with websites.
• Doctors must have a NID or birth certificate.
• Users must have a NID or birth certificate.

Postcondition:

• Successful: Doctors, Users sign up to the site.
• Unsuccessful: Due to network error or internet connectivity or absence of a NID or birth certificate users, doctors are unable to register.
• Exception: same name users will see a message to choose a unique name for signing up.

Title: Log in

Actor: Doctor, User.

Scenario:

• Doctor can view the login page.
• Doctor has to give his username and password.
• Users can view the login page.
• User has to give his username and password.

Exception:

• Identifying non-registered users & redirecting them to the register/sign up page.
• Log in input error.

Precondition:

• Doctors have a device with internet connectivity.
• Users have a device with internet connectivity.
• Doctors are registered.
• Users are registered.

Postcondition:

• Successful: Doctors, Users login to the site.
• Unsuccessful: Due to network error or internet connectivity or wrong username or password users, doctors are unable to log in.
• Exception: Unregistered users should be sent to the registration page.

Title: Choose an area

Actor: User.

Scenario:

• Users can choose the area according to his/ her hospital location preference.
• Users can choose the area according to his/ her doctor’s chamber location.

Exception:

• Users writing the wrong location name while choosing an area will not see their desired location.

Precondition:

• Users have a device with internet connectivity.
• Users can read and write English.
• Users are familiar with web browsing and can interact with websites.
• Users clearly know hospital location or doctor’s chamber location.

Postcondition:

• Successful: Users choose their desired location.
• Unsuccessful: Due to network error or internet connectivity or lack of location knowledge users may be unable to choose location.
• Users writing the wrong location name while choosing an area will not see their desired location.

Title: Search Doctor

Actor: User

Scenario:

• User can search doctor after choosing the area.
• User can find chamber address of the doctor.
• User can search doctor category/specialty wise.

Exception:

• User input error.
• Wrong area won’t give details of particular doctor.

Precondition:

• Users have devices that support internet service.
• Users have internet connection.
• Users are familiar with web browsing and can interact with website.
• User has to register on the system.
• User have to logged into the system.

Postcondition:

• Successful: Users can search doctor successfully.
• Unsuccessful: Due to network error or user error, users can’t find particular doctor.
• Exception: Have to refresh the page.

Title: Book Appointment

Actor: User

Scenario:

• Users can request an appointment.
• Users will be given a specific time and date by the doctor.

Exception:

• Too many server requests are not controllable for the server.
• Too much user at a same time can cause server traffic.

Precondition:

• Users have devices that can connect to the internet.
• Users have internet connection.
• Users are experienced with web browsing and have the ability to interact with the website.
• Users have to register on the system.
• Users have to login to the system for consult with doctor.

Post condition:

• Successful: Users can book appointment with doctor successfully.
• Unsuccessful: Due to server problem and doctors availability, user can’t book appointment with doctor from home. User can see an error message and system are asking for try again.
• Exception: Have to refresh the page.

Title: Set Appointment Time

Actor: Doctor

Scenario:

• Doctors can view request list with type of emergency to choose which patient to consult first.
• Doctors will set time and date for the patient.

Exception:

• Handling frequent data requests can slow down server.
• If people request more appointment at the same time, the queue will be longer.

Precondition:

• Doctors have a device with internet connectivity.
• Doctors are registered and logged in.
• Doctors have to be online on the appointed date.

Post condition:

• Successful: Doctors can set appointment time with patients.
• Unsuccessful: Due to network error or internet connectivity, doctors can’t set appointment with the patients.
• Exception: Have to refresh the page.

Title: Provide prescription

Actor: Doctor

Scenario:

• Doctors can consult with patient in his chamber.
• Doctors can provide prescription to patient which is send through message.

Exception:

• Handling frequent data requests can slow down server.

Precondition:

• Doctors have a device with internet connectivity.
• Doctors are registered.
• Doctors are logged in.
• Doctor have the patient’s information.

Postcondition:

• Successful: Doctors can provide prescription to patients.
• Unsuccessful: Due to network error or internet connectivity, doctor can’t provide prescription to patients.
• Exception: Stay in the same page if possible.

Title: Online payment

Actor: User, Doctor

Scenario:

• User can see doctor’s payable accounts.
• User can pay doctor’s visit through any third party like bkash, nagad etc.

Exception:

• Handling frequent data requests can slow down server.
• User input error.

Precondition:

• Doctors have a device with internet connectivity.
• Doctors must have payable account.
• User must have payable account.
• User need to know about doctor’s visit or fee.

Postcondition:

• Successful: User can pay doctor`s fee and doctor received that.
• Unsuccessful: Due to network error or internet connectivity, user is unable to pay.
• Exception: Stay in the same page if possible.

Title: Search Medicine

• Users can also find the generic name of medicines.
• Users can find the alternative medicines.
• Users can also see indications for the medicines.
