Strix SMU user guide

Specs

Installation

Software requirements:

  • Python 3.x
    • Requires Pyserial library
  • FTDI VCP Driver

Connectors:

  • Drive+ Positive drive terminal
  • Guard Guard voltage output, follows either Drive+ or Sense+
  • Sense+ Positive terminal for 4-wire operation
  • Sense- Negative terminal for 4-wire operation
  • Drive- Negative drive terminal, all current flowing out from Drive+ must go into this terminal
  • Ext Additional voltage input ( range: -2.5V .. 2.5V )

All SMA connector shields are connected to the system ground.

Strix uses a transimpendace amplifier to measure current so DUT must be floating.
