๐ค Support, Feedback & Community
RC Info Center (RCIC) is a passion project built by and for the FPV and RC community. Developing, optimizing, and debugging advanced telemetry scripts for the massive variety of EdgeTX radios on the market takes hundreds of hours and constant real-world testing.
This project thrives on community involvement. Whether you are reporting a glitch, suggesting a brilliant new feature, or helping supply testing hardware, your contribution is what keeps RCIC evolving.
๐ Found a Bug or Have a Feature Request?
If the script behaves unexpectedly on your specific radio model, or if you have an idea that could make the dashboard even better, I want to hear about it! No idea is too small.
- Please open an Issue on the GitHub repository.
- To help me fix bugs faster, always include:
- Your Radio Model (e.g., Radiomaster Boxer, Jumper T14).
- Your EdgeTX Version (e.g., v2.9.4).
- The RC Protocol and version you are using (e.g., ExpressLRS 3.3, Crossfire).
- The Flight Controller Firmware (e.g., Betaflight 4.4, INAV 7).
- If possible, attach a photo or screenshot of your radio screen showing the issue.
๐งช Help with Community Testing
Because I cannot physically own every radio and receiver combination on the market, community testing is absolutely vital. I am actively looking for feedback on:
- UI Scaling & Touch: How the 7-tab layout looks and feels on different screen sizes (B&W screens, small color screens, and large touch displays like the Radiomaster TX16S).
- Protocol Quirks: Telemetry differences and edge cases when using newer protocols like TWIN, or updates to ExpressLRS and Crossfire.
- Sensor Edge Cases: How the script handles missing sensors or unusual telemetry data from different flight controllers.
๐ป Hardware Donations & Brand Sponsorships
Hardware compatibility is the absolute biggest bottleneck in developing RCIC. Writing code for EdgeTX requires testing on physical hardware to guarantee zero-lag performance, correct UI rendering, and accurate telemetry parsing. Emulators simply cannot replicate real-world RF link behaviors.
- To the Pilots: Do you have an old radio collecting dust? A spare receiver, a burned flight controller that still outputs telemetry, or a telemetry module you no longer use? Donating your unused gear allows me to test RCIC on platforms I otherwise wouldn't have access to.
- To RC Manufacturers & Brands: If you represent a brand (Radiomaster, BetaFPV, TBS, FrSky, etc.) and want to ensure your hardware is flawlessly supported by RCIC out-of-the-box, providing developer units (radios, TX modules, or receivers) is the most effective way to make that happen.
If you can help with hardware, please reach out via GitHub Issues or contact me directly to coordinate shipping. Your support will be publicly credited!
โ Support the Development Financially
If this script has saved your drone using the LOC tracking tab, or if you simply love having a cutting-edge tactical dashboard at your fingertips, please consider supporting the project's sustainability.
Financial contributions go directly toward acquiring new receivers, sensors, and radio hardware to ensure RCIC remains fully compatible with the ever-evolving RC ecosystem.
๐ Thank You!
A massive thank you to everyone who downloads, uses, and shares RCIC. Every piece of feedback, every bug reported, every spare part mailed, and every coffee donated fuels the late-night coding sessions. Fly safe, and happy building!
