How to setup ranks correctly?

For this guide we will be using LuckPerms as permission plugin.
To setup everything correctly you need to follow the following steps.

1) Add ranked permission to donors group in luckperms.

To be recognized as donors in AlonsoPlus players must have Ranked permission.
For this example we will add the permission to the whole group of donors using LuckPerms.

Our group is called donors so we well use the following command:
/lp group donors permission set alonsoplus.ranked

We press enter and permission is already setup!

2) Edit donor prefix in luckperms group.

If your donor prefix is "&b[MVP+]" it means you probably selected that as prefix in LuckPerms.

We need to modify that prefix, to do this run the following command:
/lp group YourGroupName meta setprefix PrefixIncludingPlaceholder

In our case it will be: /lp group donors meta setprefix "&b[MVP{COLOR}+&b]"

Once done that, if we run /papi parse me %vault_prefix%
it will display "§b[MVP{COLOR}+§b]" but don't worry! We won't use that placeholder 😜

3) Using our new placeholder!

Once step 1 and 2 are done, we will be able to use our new placeholder wherever we want!
If you are using TAB plugin, instead of using %vault-prefix% or %vault_prefix% simply replace it with: %alonsoplus_rank_prefix%
Same happens with scoreboard plugins, simply use %alonsoplus_rank_prefix% instead of %vault_prefix%

No matter where you need your rank to be displayed. Simply use %alonsoplus_rank_prefix%!

Reminder: If you don't want players with a higher rank than donors group to access colors you MUST deny ranked permission, which is alonsoplus.ranked by default. All players with that permission will be recognized as donors and will have access to default color.
