Elder Kings 2 adds a spellcasting system to CK3 using Magicka as a resource and allows the player to perform arcane feats. Magic is accessible from the spellbook, and is split between spells and rituals. Spells have an up-front magicka cost with immediate effects, while rituals have a monthly magicka cost for passive modifiers when active.
