Audio Output too high - AllanGallop/DigiOne GitHub Wiki
It's appears that with some combinations of operating system, sound modules and radio's that even at the lowest possible settings the output audio sent to the transceiver is still too high.
Symptoms
The audio output drive causes high notfication of the ALC, despite all audio levels being set to lowest possible settings. In some cases the audio drive remains high (to the transceiver) but at lowest setting causes PTT jitter to occur due to low audio input to the VOX circuit.
Effected
Thanks to the protoype testers for their support trying out multiple combinations. The current combinations with a known issue are:
| OS | Module | Radio | Interface |
|---|---|---|---|
| Windows 7 | CM108 | ICOM IC-728 | ACC-2 |
| Windows 10 | CM108 | ICOM IC-728 | ACC-2 |
Fix
Currently the best option to resolve this is to replace R11 (4700Ω) with a higher value to compensate, values 10KΩ - 50KΩ have been found to work adequately
