The Radiation Sponge was originally added as a debug tool, but has since been included as a usable in-game item.

How to Obtain

To acquire one, toss an Inactive Radiation Sponge into a radiation-polluted chunk. The inactive sponge will not despawn and will gradually absorb radiation from the chunk.

Once it absorbs a configured amount of radiation, it will transform into an active Radiation Sponge. The amount of radiation that the inactive sponge needs to absorb before it turns into a radiation sponge is configurable through the mod's config.

Usage

Right-clicking with the Radiation Sponge will:

• Clear the player's radiation

• Clear the chunk's radiation buffer and radiation level
