Large Drives - AlanK23/cybersecisfun GitHub Wiki
The largest drive you can buy is 22TB, costing a whopping 550$!
I found an 8TB SSD for 400$.
One hard drive, which had a smaller capacity and had an rpm of 5400, was faster than the 22TB hard drive which was running at 4200rpm, this is because it needs to account for less data than the larger drive.
Hard drives are slower, but SSD’s hold less space. This is because SSD’s run digitally while hard drives have many moving components.
SAN uses fiber channel connectivity while NAS uses ethernet to communicate data.
