Catching Seafood - AlabasterLeking/Crabbers-Delight GitHub Wiki

To catch seafood, you will need one of three things:

1. A fishing pole
2. A crab trap

Fishing Pole

A fishing pole can be used like normal, and has a chance at catching any of the new sea food items mixed amongst the normal fishing loot pool. This will still be affected by enchantments on the pole like normal.

Crab Trap

A crab trap that is placed in water will start the process of slowly gathering seafood over time when it is provided bait to use. Once the trap is full, it will stop collecting items. If the trap has fish as bait, and has a 5x5 area around it clear of blocks, it will catch less junk, more seafood, and even some treasure items!

Bait

Different fish can be put into the bait slot of the trap to catch a mix of seafood, junk and treasure. Buckets of various types of chum can be inserted to the crab trap to determine specifically what type of seafood the trap will start to catch
