ND Missions - AlPepino/Next-Days GitHub Wiki
This mod is a successor of my previous mod Radiation Zone. It brings more mod compatibility and improve all features as well. It offers a lot but also require some skills to set up it correctly.
Unfortunately there is no back compatibility with Radiation Zone or Next Days either! And definitely don't run these mods together!
MOD SCHEME
MOD FEATURES
- unique missions system which gives you an option to spawn mission dynamically with any structures, items or creatures during gameplay. You can even make your own complete missions scenario. These missions type are supported now:
- static (despawning trigger: mission lifetime)
- static / radiation mission (extra despawning trigger: all creatures are dead)
- trader (extra despawning trigger: all traders are dead)
- car accident (extra despawning trigger: the car is retaken)
- fuel station (extra despawning trigger: the fuel reserves are drained)
- radiation
- items to helping survive in radiation like anti-radiation pills, Geiger-Counter
- radiation diseases
- contaminated items (contaminated water) while staying in radiation zone. Decontamination items by shower
- degrading items while staying in very strong radiation zone
- trader system which works like in real. Traders has own cash and supplies
- CZK and USD currency
- vehicle keys
- banking system
- added ATM and payment card
- multi-currency support
- floating exchange rate determined by global bank balance
- ATM accessible by payment card (withdraw, deposit, loans etc.)
- making hunt on debtors
- basic Role-Playing
- option to repair items to pristine
- masks prevents consuming
- vehicles management like: vehicle properties, locking/lockpicking vehicles and requiring key to engine car on
- resources managemnt of wells and fuel stations. No infinite amount of these strategic liquids anymore!

SERVER INSTALLATION
- Make sure to copy file "AlPepino_v2.bikey" to keys folder
- Copy "Next-Days" folder from addon to your server profile folder. There are 2 missions pack available so far. One for Chernarus map and second for Namalsk map.
- Chernarus map: copy contents from ServerFiles/Chernarus to your server profile folder
- Namalsk map: copy contents from ServerFiles/Namalsk to your server profile folder
- Paste file content from Extras/AddToTypes.xml to your types.xml
- Start the server and let it run for a while. All remaining necessary files will be created at this first server run. Close the server. Ignore any crashes generated in logs during this first run.
- That's all. I also recommend you to set up the server according these hints below!
HINTS
- Disable these DayZ events in file
../db/events.xml
:
- StaticContaminatedArea
- StaticHeliCrash (Chernarus map)
- StaticMedDrop (Namalsk map)
- Reduce spawning items like silencers, NVG in your types.xml
DEFAULT MISSIONS SET FOR CHERNARUS
Game economy is focused on:
- CZK is a common currency in this world and is used for business transactions in Sobor and Petrovka
- USD is rare currency is used for buying most valuables items like NVG, silencers, mines, grenades and top weapons as well (Black market and Prison trader)
- You should have two option how to get the best gear. 1) Getting it from dangerous location 2) Buying it in Black market
- gasoline is very rare

There are available common goods here. (in CZK)

There are available rare goods here. Allowed buying only except of animals bones.(in USD)

Allowed selling only. (in USD)
