Each player has its own view of the galaxy, based on which systems have been explored, and the current location of the player's fleets, colonies, and scanning capability.

#Exploration Unexplored state is indicated by a system name of "?" in the player's system info. On the first arrival of a fleet to an unexplored system an exploration event is generated and the system name is updated.

#Scanning Each turn a system is owned by a player, has a player's fleet in orbit, or is in scanner range of a player, the player's copy of the system information is updated, and the turn number is recorded.
