What we look for:

- How fast do streams load?
- Is the content in at least 1080p, and can it be lowered?
- How consistently does it find streams, including older content, without issues?
- Do stream sources auto-switch to the next if one fails?
- Does it automatically go to a shows next episode and play it without user input?
- How are the site's UI, player and search? What sort of user settings does it have?
- What sort of subtitle features does the site have?
- Does it have movies, shows and anime?
- Does it have watch lists, history or continue watching? Can you login to sync lists across devices?
- Any discovery tools like recommendations based on watched content, collections, sorting, AI, etc?
- Are new tab/window popups on the site non-existent, slightly irritating, or almost constant?
- How is the sites mobile optimization? Does it look good and work well?
- Does the site embed content using a custom player, or does it use default API players?

Keep in mind that requirements for each criteria, as well as new criteria, will sometimes be added or adjusted if we feel it's needed.
We also poll high-ranking members for their favorites. These votes don't affect main scores, but they are used for breaking ties. Votes are represented by a 🌟.
