5. Upgrade the OPatch utility tool and unzip the patch file in another empty directory
Rename the older version utility tool another name, then unzip the OPatch utility tool file in the ORACLE HOME directory. Then unzip the actual patch file in another empty directory.
6. Validate the oracle Inventory:
