Sprint 1 – Review - AgileBusinessAnalysis/01_TEAM GitHub Wiki
The Sprint Review was conducted with one of the supervisors, Knut Hinkelmann, on Friday, October 25. Overall, the whole team, as well as Knut, were very happy with the progress of the first sprint. Below are some of the discussion points that came up:
- Firstly, Knut questioned the agility of the methodology, commenting that it resembled more of a waterfall approach. The team explained to Knut that the methodology, an adapted version of the Design Sprint, will be used iteratively in all of the sprints, meaning that customer feedback is integrated into the product development in every cycle. Furthermore, only parts of the Design Sprint method will be applied in the following sprints. Knut agreed to this approach and is convinced of its agility.
- Secondly, we discussed that it would be best to stop the development of the MVP after the requirements of the second sprint are clear. This should give us sufficient information to decide on the functionalities of the final MVP.
- Lastly, we should identify a clear role of the decider, meaning that a decision framework should be put in place. However, the decider should not have too much power as this may lead to inequality within the team. A decision framework should help us in making informed and clear decisions in times of complexity and uncertainty.
The discussed topics will be integrated into the following sprints.
