This page will contain information about the computer and its functions in the Study after every hour.
The computer is in the style of a mid-90s home PC, as the setting of the game is set in the 90s. The UI is inspired by Windows 93/95, a simple UI style where the player will easily be able to view and navigate to where they want to go.
Camera System
The cameras will be accessible from the computer. Navigating to the 'Security Cameras' tab on the computer will open a program that allows the player to view the cameras around the map.
The camera system will be unlocked from the start of the game. However, certain cameras will go offline at certain points through the hour where the player must fix them in certain puzzles, possibly having to buy items from the store on the computer to complete the puzzles.
Patient Folder
This tab contains all of the information of patients that are in the nunnery. Information includes:
- Name
- Description/Biography
- Notes about patient needs and requirements
- Medicine
Each patient will have their own page in the folder. Players can use arrows on the computer program to switch to the next patient and view their information. The best use for this would be before each hour, where the objectives will show what patient needs attention. The player will then have to see who this patient is and find them on the computer and view their information, their specific needs will play a part in healing them and what to avoid when being around them.
Store
The store contains different items that the player can purchase with in game currency (see Economy page on the Wiki for more info) to assist them in completing objectives, curing patients or just general navigation of the map.
Opening the store, players are presented with a list of buttons of different items to purchase. The buttons on the page include the name if the item, along with a description of the item below it and the price of the item. Pressing the button to purchase an item, it will appear in the cart on the right of the UI. This way, players can bulk buy items instead of having to do it one by one. After purchasing an item(s), they will appear on the desk when the player exits the computer.
Buying Items
When purchasing items from the store, they will spawn in the storage room at the beginning of the next hour.
This may bring up an issue with having to go to the storage if the flashlight has no charge. To remedy this somewhat, the flashlight will be fully charged at the start of the game to allow the player to travel to the storage room if needed. The flashlight will not recharge every hour and the player will need to buy batteries and go to the storage room to get them and recharge the flashlight.
