Entry Types

There are different types of entries that the CMS system supports

• Singles - Static pages without child entries, such as the Homepage
• Channels - Used for streams of similar content such as the Instalment Loan Products
• Structures - For storing multiple similar entries that need to be sorted into a specific order.

The Sections in the CMS have their entry type already specified.

Creating a new entry

On the Entries page, click the Add Entry button and a dropdown should appear. Choose the Section you want the add the entry to. Currently there are two options

• Instalment Loans - For storing the different Instalment Loan Products
• Products - Creating the publically accessible product page.

Important!
You cannot currently create Single entries from this process, contact the administrator to do this.

Next the Entry Editor appears. Fill in the content form as appropriate for each entry type.
Common fields that apply across all entries:

• Slug - The URL that the page is located on within its Section
• Author - Who is assigned as the author of the entry
• Post Date - The date and time that the entry was first published
• Expiry Date - The date and time that the entry should be unpublished
• Enabled - Toggle whether the entry should be published or unpublished from the live website.

Editing an existing entry

To find the entry you want to edit, you can use the Search Box, or choose an Section from the sidebar of the Entries Screen. When you have found the entry in the list, click on the Title to launch the Entry Editor.
