Lithium Polymer Batteries

● Multi cell Batteries are used

● Voltage changes based on capacity

○ 2.8 - 3.0 V : Fully Discharge

○ 3.7 - 3.8 V : Discharged , Storage Condition

○ 4.2 V : Fully Charged

● Parameters of interest

○ No. of cells

○ Capacity : capacity of battery in mAh / Ah

○ C Rating : a specification describing the maximum Current that the battery can withstand

○ Maximum Charging current = C rating ( for charging ) X capacity (in Ah)

○ Maximum Charging current = C rating ( for discharging ) X capacity (in Ah)
