Push Message Audience Configuration - Adobe-Marketing-Cloud/aml-summit-lab GitHub Wiki
Overview
You define the audience by providing either,
- A pre-existing Analytics segment that was created in the Segment Manager in Reports & Analytics or,
- You can create your own custom segment using your app’s metrics and variables (dimensions) as shown below.

Other Terms:
-
Date Range:
- You can use a relative date range (Last 90 days) or set any static date range in the past.
- Only users who were active during this time range that belong to your segment will receive this push message. * Estimated Opt-in Audience:
- The larger of the two is the estimated number of users that the push message will be sent to. This is the number of users that have opted-in to push notifications for your app that have iOS as the operating system.
- The smaller number (15 in the screenshot) is all the iOS users, whether or not they have push notifications enabled.
- These numbers are based on Analytics data and have the same delay as other Analytics data (approximately 30-90 minutes).
-
Analytics Segments:
- A list of all available Analytics segments for your company.
-
Custom Segments:
- A custom segment builder that uses metrics and variables from your current report suite to build out a custom segment for this push message.
