Task 6: Disaggregate Accessibility – PR by Monday Oct 3 (updated estimated completion date)
Component is fully functional, with implementation in 2 zone system, works with multiprocessing
It is generating 5000 prototype households, 2000 sampled zones
Initial PR will include core functionality, but there will still be more work to be completed (such as testing, before the final PR)
Code review to be done on Initial PR, to be designated later
Potential presentation next Thursday on
Task 7: Shadow Pricing - PR by Monday Oct 3 (updated estimated completion date)
Implemented for school location choice
Noticed inconsistency between size term and constraint which is total enrollment. Can be an issue with jobs but less likely to occur. Tends to be more of a small sample problem.
Potential solutions:
Not worry about re-simulating students if there are no better solutions
Make constraint mechanisms specific to segments (like grade and high school students)
Adjustments to account for in-commuting. There are a few ways to implement the reduction, would like to discuss with the group. See the issue on Github for more information. It would be helpful if people could review the issue before Thursdays meeting to be ready to discuss.
