• Admin updates
  • Joe working on the AMPO conference presentation with RSG/SEMCOG and WSP/ARC
  • Joe working on scheduling next stage of scoping Phase 7
• Progress on Airspeed velocity performance benchmarking improvements
  • System is working and we now have examples for mtc and sandag
  • Jeff wrote documentation for how to use as well
  • RSG or WSP to review once ready
  • 3 zone system uses caching so that speeds things up; maybe we can use for other purposes as well
  • Jeff will add multithreading benchmarking as well
  • It would be good to have our own benchmarking server for all testing for all parties involved to best control for differences
  • Can we just use an Amazon could instance instead? Depends on cost, use, etc.
  • Setup should integrate with the test system (like the DaySim test system with Azure Pipeline)
  • Setup allows for profiling as well, which is handy
  • PSRC example calls expensive adjacent_window_run_length expression twice, which is not needed
  • Next steps, Newman finish up and then RSG/WSP review
• Discuss tour OD choice model contribution from SANDAG pull request
  • I shared the tour OD choice model slides
  • An additional purpose of the exercise was to build confidence for migrating the core resident model to ActivitySim, which it did
  • Additional reasons model developed was to test station choice and station mode choice policies
  • Next steps, address comments and further discuss if needed
