  • PSRC's Python-based approach using Dash and expression files remains the starting point based on feedback

• SANDAG update on testing their 1, 2, and 3 zone system setups
  • SANDAG also considering using 1 zone and 2 zone model as a sketch planning tool
  • 2 zone system runtime is slower than 3 zone system?
  • Lots of great drill down analysis on runtimes being done by Enrique
  • The trip destination and mode models are slower for 2 zone
  • Sampling is slower, logsums similar, and utility evaluation is similar
  • 1 and 2 zone system setups use bigger TAZ-based skims that use lots more RAM
