The Generated tab shows the actual batari Basic source code the app has built from you've added to your Actions, Player 0/Player 1, Background, Score, Data, Text, Sound, and Music tabs. This is a read-only preview of the code that gets compiled into your ROM.

When it updates

The code shown here refreshes when you click "Update ROM" on the emulator panel — that same click both compiles your project into a ROM and refreshes this tab's source view. Editing blocks on the Actions tab doesn't update this tab by itself; click "Update ROM" to see your latest changes reflected here.

Save Generated Code — Downloads the currently shown source as a plain .bas text file.

Copy Generated Code — Copies the currently shown source to your clipboard. The button's tooltip briefly changes to "Copied!" (or "Copy failed" if your browser blocked clipboard access) to confirm it worked.

Searching the code

Search the generated bBasic code.

• Enter jumps to the next match (or runs a fresh search if nothing's been searched yet).
• Shift + Enter jumps to the previous match.
• The up/down arrow buttons next to the count do the same thing by mouse.
