How to create Content for States Domain Author - AamAadmiParty/india-standalone-drupal GitHub Wiki

  • Log in to the website of your allotted domain. The url shall be <STATE_NAME>.aamaadmiparty.com. For eg. for Karnataka website, url is karnataka.aamaadmiparty.com.
  • After successful login, you will see a black coloured menu at the top.
  • A user with 'State Domains Author' role can create content of type

raj_author aam aadmi party rajasthan

  • As explained in image above, hover on Content and then on Add Content and click on the type of content you want to create. You will not be allowed to edit (if you are just an author and not a content approver) the content after saving it so be sure before you save a content and also remember to ask a content approver to approve the content created by you.
  • If you are assigned more than one domains, the domain you are logged in to will be the default domain of the content and the approver of that domain only would be able to publish it.
  • It is advised to log in through the state website you are assigned and not through any other domain, since the database and code is shared between all the domains.
  • For eg let us assume that you are given access to Karnataka and Tamil Nadu subdomains then you will be able to log in through other domains as well, let us say you log in through 'All India' domain, but you won't be able to create any content.
