Network storage isn't guaranteed to work 100% of the time, so sometimes physical intervention is needed.
I ran into an error where the CD-ROM Image for ESXi wouldn't mount from the 480-Share, so we needed to navigate around that using a flash drive with the ISO file. Not a super elaborate fix, but definitely worth noting.
Ensure all hard disks are set to Thin provisioned as to not overload the servers the systems are placed on.
After setting up VMs, switch the CD/DVD Media to the host device after the first power off to avoid potential issues in the future.
