Agenda:

  1. BNL Jan 26th/27th meeting at BNL highlights;

  2. ATLAS Production on Titan;

  3. OLCF F2F meeting in March;

  4. ALCC;

  5. Highlights from meeting with BlueBrain;

  6. CHEP proceedings;

  7. HSF UCSD workshop topics.

Discussion:

1 Report of the NGE status. Scalability is there but problem with concurrency. 2 7.5M CPU hours were used by ATLAS in Jan 2017. Titan usage at the beginning of January. Authentication (ORNL -> BNL transfer). Accounting issue (Danila, Kaushik, Alexei)

4 Allocation on Titan is part of the proposal. Paragraph describing Titan in the proposal (as it is done for ALCF and NERSC). Sergey will provide a paragraph to the proposal.

6 BigPanDA paper was submitted last week. 7 SAGA on Mira progress (SAGA will be available on Mira very soon).

Conclusions:

2 Danila will have weekly meeting with Eddie Karawakis to understand the problem and to find work around. Analytics from Kibana. The issue will be followed weekly at PanDA/Titan phonecon Two known issues: incorrect wall time from Jan-Aug, incorrect nevents. Plan will be discussed in BigPanDA meeting before implementation of fix. LSST application status. Full chain was tested on Titan.
