User Contributed VLRs - ASPRSorg/LAS GitHub Wiki
Intro
This page is a registry for user-contributed Variable Length Records (VLRs). They are provided for informational purposes with the following key objectives:
- Assist users of LAS files in their interpretation of unknown VLRs to increase value of LAS metadata.
- Prevent proliferation of VLRs with similar or identical purpose.
- Encourage collaboration between developers in the remote sensing community.
No warranty of accuracy or completeness is given or implied.
This page is organized by VLR Key value, in alphabetical order. All content is provided by the owner of each VLR Key. The VLR Key list is available here. Anyone may claim a VLR Key for their own use by submitting a request on the provided form.
BayesMap
BayesMap owns several software packages that write custom LAS VLRs. VLRs are divided by application.
