Hydra is the name of the Windows 10 system hosting the primary monitors used in Vis Space.

User Accounts

While the primary system is provisioned by OIT and any user with a UA account can use that to log in, there are 2 user accounts that are specific to the it and other machines like it.

DTN

• Username: .\dtn
• Password: Ask a staff member

This is the main user for Vis Space. Our plugins for PowerPoint, our keyboard shortcuts, and any fun desktop backgrounds are configured on this account. We recommend that everyone uses this account if possible. This account is not an Administrator.

DTN Admin

This is the main Administrator user. This user is only intended to be used to install software or perform other actions that require Administrator access. It is only to be used by staff members.
