Notes

PENS Specification Update

Tom King proposed that members of the cmi5 working group consider participation in the update of the PENS (Package Exchange Notification Services) specification. This effort would be hosted in new group with a separate bi-weekly meeting. The focus of the update will be to add more package formats (including cmi5 packages), add support for batch package processing, update security related features, and enable mobile alerts/notifications. Tom will coordinate with Andy Johnson (ADL) and provide details when available.

Conformance Testing

  • Launch Mode - Since the cmi5 indicates that LMS determines the value of Launch Mode, there are no launch mode compliance test scenarios for LMS systems other than the presence of a valid value for launch mode in the State API.
  • Multi Session Test Scenarios (LMS) - At this point, the group has determined the for the following Multi Session test scenarios:
    • Multi-Session Scenario (PassedAndCompleted moveOn)
    • Multi-Session Scenario (Completed moveOn)
    • Multi-Session Scenario (Passed moveOn)
