Notes

Andy Johnson reached out to the xAPI Profile Spec Committee. They agree with the premise of more determining properties (Context Category IDs) so well will proceed with creating a Pull request for the change.

Rules based on Determining Properties.

Pull Request for xAPI Profile Spec -

• Add Determining Properties (all or Some)
  • An IRI or array of IRI’s ? (IRI values)
  • Any property that has an IRI value

With the proposed changes, the following items will still NOT be verifiable with the cmi5/XAPI Profile:

• Launch Mechanism
• State Data / Content Templates
• Agent Profile
• Course Structure

With the proposed changes, the following items WILL be verifiable with the cmi5/XAPI Profile:

• cmi5 Statement Data

Match the rules for all the matching determining Properties

xAPI Profile (JSON LD) components

1. Concept (verb or extension)
2. Template (template of statement – rules for is in or excluded) a. Determining Properties b. Rules
3. Pattern (expect order of statements)
