Document Style Conventions

The group continued to review the pull request created by Martin Koob for Document Style Conventions (section 1.2)

The group reviewed the following sections to apply the style conventions. (Pull Request pending):

  • 4.3 Optional JSON Value
  • 6.0 LMS Requirements
  • 6.3 LMS Statement API Requirements
  • 7.1.1 First Statement API Call
  • 7.1.2 Last Statement Call
  • 7.1.3 Types of Statements

Next week the group will resume its review at Section 8.0

IEEE PAR Approval For cmi5

cmi5 is now approved as IEEE project (PAR = Project Authorization Request). The group discussed the next steps for work IEEE migration:

  1. Resubmit PAR OpenSource Access Request (for an IEEE hosted gitHub Repo to enable free access to the cmi5 spec) (Apache 2.0 license)
  2. Develop Marketing Materials for cmi5 IEEE committee kickoff announcement
  3. Set a kick-off date (Kickoff Event) –This meeting cover IEEE procedural stuff
  4. One meeting per month for IEEE Admin
  5. Front Matter Sections
  6. Move cmi5 spec into template
